Police scrambled to a holiday park near Looe after a woman was reportedly stabbed on Friday afternoon.
Victim Treated and Released, Suspect On The Run
The assault happened around 12:25pm on April 17. The woman suffered knife wounds but was treated in hospital and discharged the same day. The attacker fled the scene, possibly still armed, sparking a major manhunt.
Armed Police Hunt Ends With Arrest in Plymouth
Armed officers searched the surrounding areas, including Southway in Plymouth. Their efforts paid off when a 43-year-old Plymouth man was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm on Saturday, April 18. The suspect has since been released on bail as investigations continue. Devon & Cornwall Police are continuing inquiries. Anyone with information is urged to come forward.
