Two people were left seriously hurt following a car crash in Bradford on Saturday morning. Roads Policing officers have launched a probe and are calling for witnesses to come forward.

Collision Involving Toyota Yaris and BMW X5

The smash happened at 9am on Great Horton Road, near the junction with All Saints Road. A black Toyota Yaris collided with a stationary white BMW X5. A 30-year-old passenger in the Yaris was airlifted to the hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.

Driver Arrested but Released on Bail

The Yaris driver, a 33-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries and has since been released on bail.

Police Seek Witnesses and Footage

The Roads Policing Unit urges anyone who saw the crash or has dashcam or CCTV footage of the Toyota Yaris before the collision to get in touch. Pic G.Hall
