Sussex Police Issue Appeal After Hove Vodafone Store Robbery
Sussex Police are urgently appealing for information following a daylight robbery at the Vodafone store on George Street, Hove.
At approximately 11.40am on Saturday, 24 May, four men entered the shop, threatened staff, and stole thousands of pounds worth of electronic devices.
Suspects Fled on Foot Toward Goldstone Villas
The suspects, all described as black males wearing dark tracksuits and trainers, fled the scene on foot. Witnesses report that the men headed north up George Street toward Goldstone Villas, where they may have entered a waiting vehicle.
Two of the suspects had their faces covered, and one was seen carrying a black duffle bag.
CCTV images have been released as police work to trace their movements.
Police Link Hove Robbery to Similar Incident in Bexhill
Detective Inspector Jennifer Pietersen, who is leading the investigation, said:
“We are investigating this robbery and appealing for witnesses and anyone with relevant information, such as mobile phone or CCTV footage, to come forward.
We are linking this robbery with a very similar robbery which occurred at the Vodafone store in Devonshire Road, Bexhill, on Monday, 19 May.”
