Tragedy on Bawtry Road: Man in 50s Dies in Horror Crash
Fatal Collision Shakes Bircotes
Police were scrambled to Bawtry Road, Bircotes, just after 9:45am this Thursday following a serious crash.
One man, aged in his 50s, died instantly at the scene. Authorities have informed his next of kin.
Other Driver Seriously Hurt
The driver of the second vehicle involved sustained serious injuries and was rushed to hospital for treatment.
Investigation Underway
Sergeant Steve Waft from Nottinghamshire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “This is a tragic incident and we are currently working to understand what happened.”
He urged eyewitnesses to come forward, adding: “Any witnesses who are yet to come forward are asked to call 101 quoting incident 149 of 9 March 2023.”
