Shock on Warrington Bus: Girl, 12, Inappropriately Touched
Between 3pm and 3.30pm on Friday 17 February, a 12-year-old girl was travelling on Warrington’s number 3 bus when an unknown man touched her inappropriately. The incident happened between Warrington Bus Station and the Manchester Road stop near Beresford Street.
Police Hunt Man Caught on CCTV
Officers believe this was an isolated incident but are urgently investigating. They have released a CCTV image of the man they want to identify.
“We are doing all we can to locate the person responsible and believe this to be an isolated incident,” said Police Constable John Riley. “We are appealing to the man in the footage to come forward. Anyone with information who hasn’t contacted police yet should call 101.”
