Man Critically Injured in Suspected Hit-and-Run Attack in Hornchurch

A man in his twenties remains in critical condition after being deliberately struck by a car in Hornchurch, police have revealed.

Driver Flees Scene After Targeted Attack

The shocking incident unfolded at around 12:45am on Saturday, 25 June, on Latimer Drive. Officers believe the victim was specifically targeted, as the car did not stop and was driven straight at him.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson told the Havering Daily:

“Police were called to reports of a man injured after being hit by a car in Latimer Drive, Hornchurch, at approximately 12:45am on Saturday, 25 June.”

“His next of kin has been notified.”

“There have been no arrests; investigations into the circumstances continue.”

“Officers are maintaining a presence in the area and providing reassurance to the local community.”

Crime Scene Established, Roads Closed

Roads around the scene remain closed as police continue their probe. A crime scene has been established to gather crucial evidence.
