On Friday evening at around 7pm, a black Nissan Qashqai heading south towards Oswestry slammed into a white Nissan Juke. The 49-year-old driver of the Juke died instantly at the scene.

A 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder. Meanwhile, the Qashqai driver was rushed to Royal Stoke University Hospital with serious injuries.
