Aldi Issues Urgent Recall on £3.99 Steaks Over Allergy Risk
Aldi Pulls Steaks in Allergic Shock Warning
Aldi has urgently recalled its £3.99 Ashfields 30 Day Matured Thin Cut Beef Steaks after a packaging blunder put allergy sufferers in danger.
The steaks contain milk, a serious allergen, but shockingly this was left off the label.
Use-By Date October 26, 2025 – Don’t Eat These Steaks!
The affected packets, all with a use-by date of October 26, 2025, could trigger severe milk allergy reactions. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) slammed the error, warning:
“This product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents due to a packaging error.”
Shoppers are urged: do not eat these steaks. Return them to any Aldi for a full refund immediately.
Aldi’s Latest Labelling Chaos Sparks Fury
This comes just weeks after Aldi axed their Gianni’s Cheeky Monkey Ice Cream for failing to declare wheat – a nightmare for coeliacs and allergy sufferers.
The retailer’s ongoing packaging fails are putting customers at risk and testing shopper patience.
What Aldi Is Doing to Fix the Mess
- Aldi has placed notices in stores alerting customers to the recall.
- They are working with allergy groups to get the message out fast.
- Full refunds are being offered to anyone with the tainted steaks.
Anyone allergic to milk: check your fridge now and bin those steaks. Don’t chance it!
