Tragedy on Gisburn Road: Couple Killed in Horror Crash with HGV
Fatal Smash Rocks Quiet Road
Police rushed to Gisburn Road at 10.48am after a serious collision between a heavy goods vehicle (HGV) and a Chrysler car. Despite frantic efforts by emergency crews, a man and woman in their 60s inside the Chrysler were pronounced dead at the scene.
HGV Driver Unharmed
The lorry driver escaped with no serious injuries. The heartbreaking crash has left the local community in shock, and police have extended their deepest condolences to the grieving family.
