Woman Found Dead with Stab Wounds in East London Home

Police launch murder probe after a 35-year-old woman is found fatally stabbed at a house on Magnolia Close, E10.

Tragic Discovery in Magnolia Close

Officers were called to the scene at 11:52am on Tuesday, 26 February following concerns for the occupants. Paramedics from London Ambulance Service and the Air Ambulance rushed to the property but could not save the woman, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Man Arrested Over Suspected Murder

A 54-year-old man present at the address was arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody. Detective Inspector Olly Clark said: “At this very early stage we are treating this as a domestic-related incident and believe the parties were known to each other. We are not seeking further suspects.”

Ongoing Investigation by Met Police

Homicide detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command are handling the case. DI Clark added: “Officers will be working hard to establish the exact sequence of events which led to this woman losing her life. A post-mortem examination will help us establish this.”
