Teen Stabbed to Death Near Nisa Store
A 15-year-old boy has died after being stabbed in a shocking attack near a local shop. Despite emergency crews rushing to the scene, Kayjon Lubin was pronounced dead at the spot.
Single Chest Wound Fatal
A post-mortem revealed Kayjon died from a single stab wound to the chest. The Met’s Specialist Crime Command (Homicide) is working tirelessly to crack the case.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Detective Chief Inspector Mark Wrigley said: “We are supporting Kayjon’s family through this unimaginable tragedy and are doing all we can to find who’s responsible. There were many people nearby when Kayjon was attacked. If you saw anything near the Nisa store in Pier Parade around 6:30pm, please come forward. No detail is too small.”
Two Men Held, One Released
- A 17-year-old was arrested on suspicion of murder and a 28-year-old on suspicion of attempted murder on Sunday, 13 December. Both remain in custody.
- A 25-year-old man arrested on Saturday, 12 December has been released with no further action.
