Shock Croydon Acid Attack: Two Women Hurt in Noxious Assault

Detectives are hunting witnesses after a vile assault involving a noxious substance in Croydon. Officers were called to County Road, near Norbury Avenue in Thornton Heath, at 11:44am on Monday, 8 April.

Two Female Victims Suffer Facial Injuries

Emergency crews, including the Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade, rushed to the scene. They found two females – one in her 60s, the other a teenager – with painful facial injuries.

Both victims were quickly taken to a south London hospital. Thankfully, they have since been discharged, but detectives remain eager for information.

Police Seek Witnesses and Dashcam Footage

The South Area Command Unit in Bromley is leading the investigation. They want anyone who was nearby at the time, or who caught anything on dashcam, to come forward.
