Burglars Raid Faversham Construction Site, Steal Power Tools

Kent Police are hunting witnesses after a daring burglary at a Faversham construction site. Thieves struck under cover of darkness, targeting a site on Love Lane between 5.30pm Monday, 19 May and 7am Tuesday, 20 May.

Thieves Smash Fence, Steal Huge Haul

The crooks caused major damage to the site’s perimeter fencing before making off with a large stash of power tools and batteries. The stolen property was likely hauled away by vehicle, say officers.

“The property was likely removed from the location using a vehicle, and we are appealing to motorists with dashcams and residents with private CCTV systems to check for any footage that could help with our investigation.” – PC Niamh Miller

Police Plea: Check Your CCTV & Dashcams

The site was left unattended overnight, giving the burglars the perfect chance to strike. Police urge anyone who spotted suspicious activity or has CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward.
