Man attacked after stepping into fight in Hastings late at night

Police are hunting witnesses after a man was assaulted in Hastings while trying to break up a dispute.

Hero victim intervenes in street row

The victim was walking along Havelock Road when he spotted a clash between a woman and two men. When he stepped in to help, he was suddenly attacked himself.

Incident occurred near Flames Grill

The assault took place sometime between 11pm on Thursday, September 29, and 00:30am on Friday, September 30, between Flames Grill and Crowleys Bar.

Police urge witnesses to come forward

If you saw the scuffle or have any info, contact police online or call 101 quoting serial 138 of 30/09.
