Headless Deer Found Shot Near Blashford Lake

Police are hunting for info after a gruesome discovery on the A338 near Blashford Lake in Ringwood. On the morning of Wednesday 29 January, a large Fallow buck was found shot in the legs and body – and shockingly, its head had been chopped off.

Vet Confirms Deer Likely Hit by Vehicle Too

A vet and Country Watch officers rushed to the scene. The vet suspects the deer was also hit by a car. However, cops say this case isn’t linked to any other incidents at the moment.
