Knife Scare Sparks Police Rush to Bushy Park

Chaos erupted near Kingston Bridge entrance of Bushy Park this Christmas Eve after reports of a man spotted carrying a knife.

Armed Suspect Sparks Panic

At around 2:25pm on December 24, frantic calls poured in about a male suspect waving a knife near Bushey Park Mews, Hampton Hill. Police responded swiftly, sealing off part of the park near Kingston Bridge to hunt the dangerous individual.

No Arrests Yet, Police Still Searching

The Met Police confirmed they carried out an exhaustive search but couldn’t locate the man. It remains unclear whether he fled the scene or is still lurking in the area.

“Police were called at about 2.15pm on Tuesday, 24 December to reports of a man believed to be damaging a tree with a knife in Bushy Park,” a Met spokesperson said. “Officers attended and carried out a thorough search of the area but with no trace.”
