Motorcyclist Killed in Shocking Sittingbourne Crash
Serious collision investigators are hunting witnesses after a tragic motorbike crash in Sittingbourne claimed the life of a 26-year-old rider.
Fatal Smash on Swale Way
The deadly collision happened at 9:44pm on 12 May 2021 on Swale Way, involving a Honda CBR1000 and a blue Citroen C4 Picasso. The biker, a man from Whitstable, was riding near the entrance to Milton Creek fishing lakes when the crash occurred.
He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. His pillion passenger suffered serious injuries but is expected to survive.
Four Arrested After Crash
Police have arrested three Sittingbourne men aged 18, 23, and 32 on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. A 34-year-old woman from Sittingbourne is also in custody, suspected of attempting to pervert the course of justice.
All four remain in police custody as inquiries continue.
Witnesses Urgently Asked to Come Forward
Officers keenly want to speak to anyone who saw the collision or spotted the blue Citroen moments before the smash.
“We’re especially interested in anyone at Milton Creek fishing lakes who might know about the car’s occupants,” said police.
