A car ploughed into a group of children near the ASDA car park at Brighton Marina just before midday on Tuesday, triggering a frantic emergency response.

Five Children Hurt, Three Hospitalised

South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) raced to the scene after reports of the smash on 9 December 2025. Five children were treated nearby.

Two patients were taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital and one to Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital for further medical treatment. Two others were discharged after treatment at the scene,” confirmed a SECAmb spokeswoman.

Police Launch Probe, Seek Witnesses

Sussex Police confirmed emergency teams responded rapidly to the incident near ASDA’s car park, which involved four children. The crash caused temporary road closures in the area.

Authorities are urging anyone with information — including CCTV, dash-cam, or mobile footage — to step forward. Quote serial 543 of 09/12 when contacting police.
