A young child was left badly burned after yobs crashed a stolen moped and set it on fire in Downham, Bromley. Emergency crews were scrambled just after 5pm on Sunday to Shaftesbury Park, where they found the vehicle engulfed in flames.

Police, paramedics, and the London Fire Brigade rushed to the scene. Paramedics treated the child for serious burns before rushing them to hospital for urgent care.
