13-Year-Old Girl Dies After Horror Crash in Barnet
Police hunt witnesses after tragic road smash in north London.
Tragic Collision on Longmore Avenue
A 13-year-old girl was rushed to a north London hospital after a car slammed into two pedestrians on Longmore Avenue, Barnet, at around 9.35pm on Monday, 29 June. Despite emergency crews’ efforts, she died shortly before 11pm.
Second Teen Escapes with Shocks but No Injuries
A 15-year-old girl was also involved but escaped physical harm, though clearly shaken by the incident.
Driver Arrested and Charged
The 41-year-old female driver stayed at the scene and was quickly arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. She has since been charged.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dash Cam Footage
Officers from the Roads and Transport Policing Command are urging anyone who saw the crash or has dash cam footage to come forward.
