A child was urgently taken to hospital after suddenly falling ill on Erith High Street near Saltford Close this morning (September 2).

The incident happened just before 11:25 am, sparking a swift reaction from the London Ambulance Service. An ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic, and an incident response officer were dispatched immediately to the scene.

On-Site Treatment Before Hospital Transfer

Medics treated the child at the scene before rushing them to hospital as a priority. Their current condition remains unknown.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 11:24 am today to reports of a person unwell on Erith High Street, DA8. We sent resources including an ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic, and an incident response officer. We treated a child at the scene before taking them to hospital as a priority.”
