Life-Saving Coastguard Helicopter Scrambles to Isle of Wight
A Lee on the Solent-based Coastguard search and rescue helicopter was scrambled in the early hours of Wednesday morning for a critical medical evacuation on the Isle of Wight.
The helicopter flew into St Mary’s to collect a seriously ill patient, rushing them to urgent care.
Called Into Action Just After Midnight
The rescue team was dispatched shortly after midnight on Tuesday, ready to save a life under pressing circumstances.
