Southbound traffic is being rerouted through the larger East Tunnel. This means the Northbound side is limited to the smaller West Tunnel, which has a lower height clearance.

The incident is causing delays in both directions on the M25 near Dartford. The clockwise entry slip roads at junctions 30 and 31 are also shut, adding to the traffic misery.
