Hit-and-Run Horror in West Malling: Police Urge Public for Dashcam Footage

Kent Police are hunting for dashcam and CCTV footage after a hit-and-run left three women injured on a West Malling pedestrian crossing.

Black Ford Fiesta Flees Scene

The drama unfolded just after 4pm on Wednesday 11 March 2020, when a black Ford Fiesta smashed into three women on High Street before speeding off towards East Malling. The car was later found abandoned in Twisden Road at around 9.45pm.

Victims Suffer Serious Injuries

One woman suffered serious injuries and was rushed to a London hospital, where she remains in a stable condition. Another was treated at a local hospital, while the third received on-the-spot care and wasn’t hospitalised.

Police Plea: Got Dashcam or CCTV? Let Us Know!

Detective Inspector Richard O’Toole said: “Our inquiries are ongoing and although no arrests have been made yet, we’re thankful for the information received. We urgently need dashcam or CCTV footage from Twisden Road and surrounding areas taken around the time of the crash up to 10pm.”
