A man has died after police shot a dog deemed a threat at a Derby house. Another man linked to the drama remains in custody.
Death at Cameron Road Stuns Derby
Officers rushed to a property on Cameron Road on Saturday morning following reports of an “out of control” dog posing a danger to the public and police. On arrival, they found a man critically injured inside the home.
Tragically, the man died at the scene, Derbyshire Police confirmed.
Armed Police Shoot Dog to Protect Officers
The dog was reportedly aggressive, forcing armed officers to shoot it to prevent harm. Police described the animal as presenting a risk to both officers and the community.
