A man has died after police shot a dog deemed a threat at a Derby house. Another man linked to the drama remains in custody.

Death at Cameron Road Stuns Derby

Officers rushed to a property on Cameron Road on Saturday morning following reports of an “out of control” dog posing a danger to the public and police. On arrival, they found a man critically injured inside the home.

Tragically, the man died at the scene, Derbyshire Police confirmed.
