Hampstead Heath Flashing Spree: Cops Release New E-Fit and Footage on Crimewatch

Daytime Predator Strikes on Hampstead Heath

Detectives hunting a man behind a string of daytime indecent exposures on Hampstead Heath have gone public again. The incidents took place between 4:40pm and 8pm on Tuesday 6 and Wednesday 7 June, hitting hotspots like the mixed bathing pond, Parliament Hill viewpoint, and East Heath Road.

The perpetrator, described as a lone male aged 25-35, approached women in the southeast of the Heath, exposing himself and making unwanted advances. The police were quickly alerted and launched a rapid investigation.

Who is the Suspect?

  • Tanned skin
  • Short brown hair
  • Dark eyes
  • Clean-shaven
  • Height between 5ft 6in and 5ft 8in

Detectives are confident the same man is behind multiple offences. They’ve now released an E-fit and victim-shot mobile footage, aired on BBC1’s Crimewatch, hoping to jog memories and catch the flasher.

Police and Victims Speak Out

“These offences have left victims traumatised. It’s vital that anyone with information helps us bring this man to justice,” said Detective Chief Inspector Paul Ridley, leading the probe from the Central North Public Protection Team.

Victims remain shocked and appalled by the attacks. DCI Ridley pledged the Met is committed to stamping out violence against women and urged witnesses or anyone else affected to come forward.
