Young Woman Attacked and Robbed in N15 Streets
A 20-year-old woman was set upon and robbed in broad daylight on Thursday afternoon in N15.
Two Women Carry Out Shocking Assault
Around 4.30pm on 7 December, the victim was approached by two females on Rostrevor Avenue. They violently assaulted her before snatching her bag and fleeing towards the nearby A10.
The victim suffered bruises but thankfully did not need hospital treatment.
Police Launch Hunt for Attackers
Detective Inspector Mike Herrick said: “This was a shocking incident and a terrifying experience for the victim, who was lucky not to sustain more serious injuries. We don’t underestimate the psychological impact of such offences and are providing her with full support as we work to identify the suspects.”
He added, “We know footage of the attack has been widely shared on social media, raising concerns about the motive. We are keeping an open mind and working closely with the local community to ease fears.”
