Violent Assault on Young Man in Cotgrave Leaves Him Hospitalised
Serious Head Injury in Evening Attack
Police rushed to Grassmere, Cotgrave, at around 6.45pm on Wednesday after a brutal assault left a man in his twenties with a serious head injury. He remains in hospital but thankfully his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Police Launch Full Investigation
Detective Sergeant Matt Dumbrell from Nottinghamshire Police described the attack as a “violent assault” and confirmed officers are piecing together events before, during, and after the incident.
“We urge any witnesses to come forward,” said Dumbrell.
