Man in his 50s stabbed to death on Essex Road in broad daylight
Police Called After Stabbing
Officers rushed to Essex Road, N1, at 5.27pm on Saturday, 29 May following reports of a stabbing. They found a man suffering from a stab wound and tried to save him on the spot.
Victim Dies at Scene
Despite frantic first aid from police and the London Ambulance Service, the victim was pronounced dead at 6pm. Next of kin have been informed, but formal identification is still pending.
Investigation Underway
Detectives from the Specialist Crime Command are now leading the probe. A crime scene remains sealed off and so far, no arrests have been made.
