Fatal Stabbing in Ilford: Police Renew Urgent Appeal for Witnesses

Man Dies After Early Morning Stabbing in Springfield Drive

Detectives are urgently hunting for information after a fatal stabbing in Ilford. Police were called to a residential address on Springfield Drive at around 1.25am on Saturday, 19 March following reports a man had been stabbed. Paramedics and officers rushed to the scene, but despite their best efforts, 30-year-old Imran Isat was pronounced dead.

Homicide Investigation Launched

Homicide detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command have taken charge of the probe. A post-mortem on 20 March confirmed Mr Isat died from shock, haemorrhage, and a stab wound to the chest. Two men arrested in connection with the case have since been released without charge.
