Man Stabbed to Death Outside Popular SE1 Bar

Police were called at 2:15am on Saturday, 29 October, after a stabbing outside Cubana Restaurant on Lower Marsh Street, SE1. A 32-year-old man was found critically injured near flats on Frazier Street at around 2:30am.

Despite emergency services’ best efforts, the victim died shortly after arriving at hospital. His next of kin have been informed and are receiving specialist support.

Detective Pleads for Witnesses After Night of Horror

Detective Chief Inspector Brian Howie, leading the investigation, said: “A man has lost his life in the most tragic of circumstances and we will do all we can to track down those responsible. My thoughts are with his family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.”

He added the victim was with friends outside Cubana when a fight broke out between two groups around 2am. The victim was stabbed and staggered down Lower Marsh and onto Frazier Street before collapsing.

“We know the area was busy with people socialising or heading home. Some may have thought it was just a pub argument, but it’s crucial we hear from anyone who saw or heard anything. Your information could be vital.”

DCI Howie urged anyone who witnessed the attack, saw suspects fleeing, or has video footage to come forward immediately.

Crime Scenes Active as Police Hunt Killer

The victim has not yet been formally identified. Several crime scenes remain cordoned off while forensic teams comb the area. Local officers continue to patrol the neighbourhood.

A post-mortem is scheduled for early next week to confirm the cause of death. No arrests have been made so far.
