Range Rover Crashes Into Sewing Machine Shop in Hounslow – Driver ‘High on Laughing Gas’
Shocking Smash on Hounslow High Street
Chaos erupted in Hounslow just before 10:30 PM last night when a Range Rover careered off the road and smashed straight into a local sewing machine store. Eyewitnesses say the driver appeared to be under the influence, causing serious damage to the shop’s front and interior.
Emergency Services Rush to Scene
Police, fire crews, and paramedics responded swiftly, but thankfully no one was hurt as the shop was closed at the time. The driver, a man in his 30s, was arrested at the scene suspected of dangerous driving and being under the influence of a substance.
Driver Spotting Nitrous Oxide Use
Bystanders reported seeing the driver inhaling from balloons shortly before the crash — a classic sign of nitrous oxide, or “laughing gas,” use. Police confirmed their probe is focused on whether substance abuse played a role in the smash.
Devastated Shop Owner Speaks Out
“It’s devastating to see my livelihood like this. The windows are shattered, and some machines inside are completely destroyed,” the owner lamented upon arrival at the wreckage.
