Eight Hurt in Horror Two-Car Smash in Enville
A serious two-car crash rocked Enville, Staffordshire, last night, leaving eight people injured. Five victims, including four male teenagers, were rushed to hospital after the terrifying collision at Highgate Common.
Emergency Crews Race to Scene
West Midlands Ambulance Service sprang into action just after 6:30 pm. Their massive response included five ambulances, three paramedic officers, the Hazardous Area Response Team (HART), two BASICS emergency doctors, and the WMAS Critical Care Car.
A spokesperson revealed: “On arrival, crews found eight patients. Five were teenage boys from the same vehicle. One had life-threatening injuries, another was seriously hurt. Both were taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.”
Teenagers in Critical Condition
“Two more teenagers with serious injuries were sent to Birmingham Children’s Hospital,” the spokesperson added. “A fifth teen was treated for potentially serious injuries and taken to New Cross Hospital.”
Meanwhile, the second car had three occupants—a man and two women—who suffered only minor injuries and were treated at the scene.

Emergency teams worked for hours to manage the scene and care for the injured. Authorities have launched a full investigation into what caused the crash.
