Explosion in Swindon

Crews from the Swindon area (Swindon and Stratton) have responded to reports of an explosion in Eldene. A small fire was also out upon their arrival and they handed one casualty over the South Western Ambulance Service (SWAS) whom was suffering from burns and were conveyed to hospital via Air Ambulance. We also sought guidance from a Building Control Officer from Swindon Borough Council and an engineer from the Gas board. The British Red Cross fire victim support unit also provided assistance at the scene
