Fatal collision near Crockham Hill

Officers investigating a fatal collision near Crockham Hill are appealing for witnesses. Kent Police was called at 8.06am on Wednesday 27 June 2018 regarding a collision involving a black Mini Countryman and a black Honda motorcycle on Main Road at its junction with Dairy Lane and Dennettsland Road. Officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene where the motorcyclist, a 29-year-old man from Caterham, was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed. Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen either vehicle before or during the collision, or who have dashcam footage to get in contact.
