Police Hunt Pervert Who Attacked Teen Girl on Harrow Bus
Detectives are on the trail of a man after a 14-year-old girl was sexually assaulted on a 140 bus in Harrow. Cops have released CCTV images, hoping someone will recognise the suspect.
Brave Teen Reports Sick Attack
Detective Constable Charlotte Joseph from the Met’s Roads and Transport Policing Command said: “No woman or girl should face this kind of behaviour when simply trying to use public transport. I want to commend her bravery for recognising this behaviour was wrong and reporting what happened to police.”
She added the same man is linked to a previous attack on a woman that went unreported. Both assaults happened in broad daylight, with the pervert brazenly trapping his victims on a crowded bus.
About the Suspect and Incident
- Timing: Around 8am on 27 September
- Location: 140 bus heading towards Harrow Weald
- Suspect: Man in his 50s, wearing glasses and sporting a moustache
- Method: The creep trapped the 14-year-old girl in the disabled seating area near the stairs, stopping her from moving and touching her inappropriately twice.
The girl escaped as other passengers exited and immediately reported the attack to police.
Police Appeal for Information
Thanks to CCTV, police linked the suspect to an earlier assault on another woman before the teen’s attack.
