White House Cocaine Probe Shut Without Answers

The US authorities have called it quits on the cocaine mystery at the White House. The Secret Service announced on Thursday that the investigation is closed due to a “lack of physical evidence.” This bombshell is set to ignite fresh conspiracy theories, especially among Republicans and ex-President Donald Trump — who without proof, linked the drugs to President Joe Biden and his son Hunter.

No Clues, No Culprit

The Secret Service, in charge of White House security, revealed the FBI couldn’t find any fingerprints on the cocaine package. “There was no surveillance footage or leads to identify who left the drugs,” the agency stated. With countless people passing through the area where the cocaine was found, they said pinpointing a suspect without solid evidence was impossible.

Biden Family Not in Building; Cocaine Found in Busy Spot

The White House has stressed that President Biden and his family weren’t even in the building when the cocaine was discovered. The drugs turned up in a “heavily travelled area” inside a receptacle used to store personal and electronic items before entering the West Wing.

The package was found on July 2. The Washington DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services, followed by the FBI, confirmed the substance was cocaine.

Republicans Cry Foul Over ‘Shoddy’ Investigation

Since the discovery, some Republicans have tried to link the drugs to Hunter Biden, who has battled drug addiction publicly.

Trump jumped in with claims on his Truth Social platform, connecting the cocaine to the Bidens with zero evidence.

Right-wing Congressman Andy Biggs slammed the outcome, tweeting, “Unacceptable. It’s time to investigate the investigators.” Congressman Tim Burchett called the probe a “bad look” for the Secret Service, questioning their effectiveness despite tight White House security.
