Sidcup Man Dies in Early Morning Herne Bay Crash
Kent Police are hunting witnesses after a fatal smash in Herne Bay.
The tragedy unfolded at 4.40am on Sunday, 22 December 2019. A white Ford Transit van, heading away from Herne Bay town centre, slammed into a streetlight on Beltinge Road.
The driver, a 40-year-old man from Sidcup, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Serious Collision Unit Seeks Help
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit are on the case and want to hear from anyone who saw the crash or spotted the van earlier that morning.
They’re also asking for anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
