Firefighters from the London Fire Brigade rushed to HMYOI Feltham just after 12.40pm on Sunday following reports of a fire in a prison cell.

It is believed the blaze broke out in one of the cells, with emergency teams quickly dispatched to tackle the flames. Reports indicate that people were inside the affected cell at the time.

“Fire crews and Paramedics have been called to the Prison due to a fire on one of the prison spurs,” a service source revealed.
The Ministry of Justice has been contacted for comment as the situation continues to unfold.
