Thieves Swipe Poppy Appeal Tins from Grayshott
Low-life crooks have struck at the heart of Grayshott’s Royal British Legion, making off with charity collection tins stuffed with cash.
Break-In at Royal British Legion
Between 11.30pm on Thursday, October 27 and 10am the next morning, burglars forced their way into the branch on Headley Road.
They grabbed two Poppy Appeal collection boxes filled with around £250 meant for veterans and armed forces support.
Police Plead for Info
Hampshire Police are hunting the heartless thieves and need locals to come forward.
“Anyone with information is urged to call Hampshire Police on 101 quoting 44160407110,” authorities said.
