Man Caught Carrying Axe on The Mall
Police on patrol spotted a man carrying an axe on The Mall at around 6.30pm on Tuesday, April 13.
Armed Officers Step In
Armed officers nearby quickly rushed to the scene. The man, believed to be in his 40s, was detained and arrested on suspicion of carrying an offensive weapon.
No Injuries Reported
Thankfully, no one was hurt. The suspect was taken to Charing Cross Police Station for questioning. Enquiries are ongoing.
