Man Arrested Over Terror Funding Released Under Investigation

A 42-year-old man was arrested by the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command on Tuesday, 25 May, in west London. He was suspected of funding terrorism, in breach of Section 17 of the Terrorism Act 2000.

Police Raids Uncover Linked Addresses

Detained under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act (PACE), he was held while police searched two connected west London addresses. After questioning, he was released but remains under investigation.
