A stabbing incident in Crystal Palace has left a man in his 30s hospitalized. The incident occurred on Belvedere Road at approximately 1:30 pm on January 9, 2024.

Upon receiving reports of the stabbing, officers from the Metropolitan Police, London Ambulance Service crews, and London’s Air Ambulance swiftly responded to the scene. They discovered a man with stab wounds and promptly provided him with medical assistance.

The injured man was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Fortunately, medical professionals assessed his injuries as not life-threatening, offering hope for his recovery.

As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police confirmed the details of the incident, stating, “Police were called at around 13:30 hrs to Belvedere Road, Croydon, to reports of a stabbing. Officers attended and discovered a man in his 30s with stab wounds. He was taken to the hospital, where his condition was assessed as not life-threatening. An investigation has been launched by detectives from South Area Command. Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting CAD 3185/9Jan.”

The London Ambulance Service also responded to the incident, with a spokesperson noting, “We were called today (9 January) at 1:30 pm to reports of an incident on Belvedere Road, Anerley. We sent some resources to the scene, including an incident response officer, an ambulance crew, and a medic in a fast-response car. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance. We treated a man at the scene before taking him to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
