A man in his 40s has been found dead in Croydon this morning, with Metropolitan Police officers treating his death as unexpected, though not believed to be suspicious.
Emergency services were called to Walton Green in New Addington around 6:30 AM on Monday, February 24, after reports of an unconscious man. Despite the best efforts of paramedics, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said:
“Police were called after a man in his 40s was found unconscious in Walton Green, New Addington, around 06:30hrs on Monday, 24 February. He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.”
