Man Mowed Down in Retaliation Attack After Double Stabbing on Tower Hamlets Estate
Chaos erupted on a Tower Hamlets estate after an 18-year-old pedestrian was deliberately hit by a car in what police believe was a retaliation attack following a savage double stabbing.
Serious Collision on Scott Street
At around 5pm on Monday, 20 July, London Ambulance Service (LAS) alerted police to a road traffic collision on Scott Street, E1. Officers rushed to the scene where the young man lay seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle.
The teen was immediately rushed to an east London hospital, and his condition remains critical.
Driver Flees, No Arrests Yet
The driver of the car fled the scene on foot and is believed to have escaped in a separate vehicle. Police are hunting for the culprit but no arrests have been made so far.
Tensions Run High on Estate
It’s understood the collision was a reprisal attack following a double stabbing nearby. Thankfully, no other injuries have been reported at this time, but locals remain shaken by the violence.
Police continue their investigation and urge anyone with information to come forward.
