A man has been rushed to hospital following a serious road traffic collision in Eltham. The crash occurred yesterday (September 24) at around 4:15 p.m. at the junction of Wincrofts Drive and Rochester Way.
Emergency services responded swiftly, with multiple London Ambulance Service (LAS) resources deployed to the scene, including ambulance crews, a fast response car, and London’s Air Ambulance. The first crew arrived within three minutes.
A man, who was treated at the scene, was then taken as a priority to a London major trauma centre. His current condition has not yet been confirmed.
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said:
“We were called at 4.15pm on Tuesday 24 September to reports of a road traffic collision at the junction of Wincrofts Drive and Rochester Way, Eltham. We sent a number of resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, paramedics in fast-response cars and London’s Air Ambulance. The first of our crews arrived in three minutes. Our crews treated a man at the scene before taking him to a London major trauma centre as a priority.”
Authorities are yet to release further details about the man’s condition, and investigations into the incident are ongoing.
