Man Rushed to Hospital After Serious Crash in Eltham
A man was flown to a major trauma centre following a nasty road traffic collision in Eltham yesterday afternoon.
Crash Shakes Eltham Junction
The smash happened at around 4:15 p.m. on September 24, right at the busy junction of Wincrofts Drive and Rochester Way. Emergency services were on the scene within minutes.
Rapid Response from Emergency Crews
London Ambulance Service deployed multiple resources including ambulance crews, fast response cars, and London’s Air Ambulance. The first crew arrived in just three minutes.
A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service said:
“We were called at 4.15pm on Tuesday 24 September to reports of a road traffic collision at the junction of Wincrofts Drive and Rochester Way, Eltham. We sent a number of resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, paramedics in fast-response cars and London’s Air Ambulance. The first of our crews arrived in three minutes. Our crews treated a man at the scene before taking him to a London major trauma centre as a priority.”
Man Taken to Hospital, Condition Unknown
The injured man received treatment at the scene before being rushed to hospital. His current condition has not been revealed. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash.
