Jack Russell Max Rescued After Getting Stuck Two Floors Up!

Max, a cheeky Jack Russell, found himself in a right pickle after slipping out of a window and ending up stranded on a narrow ledge two floors above ground. The pooch’s plight was spotted by a worried neighbour on Lanhill Road in Maida Vale, who quickly dialled emergency services.

Brave Paddington Firefighters Save the Day

Firefighters from Paddington rushed to the scene, arriving with their specialist gear. Crew Manager Sean Sloan revealed, “Max climbed out of the window but couldn’t turn around on the ledge. He was well and truly stuck. We’re not sure how long he’d been up there, but it was at least half an hour.”

Max’s Owner Overjoyed After Daring Rescue

Max’s owner was visibly distressed, but the rescue team swiftly got Max down safely. “He was absolutely fine and even seemed to enjoy all the attention,” Sloan added.

He urged the public to contact the RSPCA first if they spot animals in trouble. “If they need us, the RSPCA will call us, and we’re happy to assist with our specialist equipment,” Sloan confirmed.

Quick Response Ends Rescue Within 30 Minutes

The fire brigade was called at 7:30pm and wrapped up the rescue just after 8pm. A fire engine and an aerial ladder platform from Paddington were deployed to save Max from his precarious perch.
