Fatal Northolt Crash: Man Dead, Driver Arrested for Dangerous Driving

The Metropolitan Police have launched a probe after a deadly smash in Northolt. A 47-year-old man has died following a high-speed collision involving a BMW and a Ford Focus.

Speeding BMW Sparks Tragic Collision

At around 4:40am on Monday, 27 January, officers spotted a BMW racing along Ruislip Road. Moments later, it slammed into a Ford Focus. Emergency services rushed to the scene, but the 47-year-old Focus driver tragically died at the spot.

Two Men Arrested in Wake of Crash

Two 25-year-old men from the BMW were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. Both were treated in hospital; luckily, their injuries aren’t life-threatening. The passenger has since been released, but the driver remains in police custody.

Serious Collision Unit Investigates

Detectives are piecing together what led to the fatal smash. Officers urge anyone who saw the crash or has dashcam footage to step forward.
