A heart-breaking fire tore through a home in Tillett Close, Stonebridge, early Saturday morning, leaving a woman and her three children dead. A man has been arrested as police launch a full investigation into the shocking blaze.

“Despite the best efforts of emergency services, I can confirm a woman and three of her children died at the scene. Two other family members are receiving treatment in hospital,” said Superintendent Steve Allen of the Met Police’s North West London team.

“We recognise the huge impact this tragedy has had on the community,” added Superintendent Allen. “Officers will remain in the area today, working closely with local authorities to provide support and maintain safety.”
